Looking for the Glassdoor API?
Glassdoor no longer offers an open developer API for its jobs. Here is how to get job listings from the employers themselves, with one API.
Updated
The short answer
As of November 2026, Glassdoor does not offer an open developer API for reading its job listings. Its old public API is closed to new developers, and data sharing is limited to partners. To get job listings in your app, use a jobs API that collects jobs from employer career sites and hiring systems, where many Glassdoor jobs are first posted.
What happened to the Glassdoor API?
Glassdoor once had a developer API with job and company data. It is no longer open for new sign-ups, and we found no public developer portal for it in November 2026. Any access today goes through a partner relationship with Glassdoor.
Glassdoor is best known for company reviews and pay reports written by people. Those are a different kind of data from job listings. This guide is about job listings.
Where do Glassdoor jobs come from?
Many jobs on Glassdoor are posted first on the employer’s own career page or hiring system (ATS). That original post is usually the most complete version, and it is the one that closes when the job is filled.
What can you get from The Jobs API?
- Active jobs from employer career sites and hiring systems in the US and Canada
- Full descriptions in text and HTML
- Original job links and apply links
- Pay when the employer states it
- New, changed and expired job feeds
- Company profiles with paid plans
What will you not get?
- Employee reviews and ratings. We do not collect reviews.
- Pay reports from employees. Our salary data is only what the employer posts in the job.
- Glassdoor’s own listings. We do not collect from Glassdoor.
Can I scrape Glassdoor instead?
Glassdoor limits automated access in its terms. We do not scrape Glassdoor, and we do not recommend it.
Try it: jobs with stated pay
This request returns jobs in British Columbia that state a salary:
curl "https://api.thejobsapi.com/v1/jobs?country=CA&province=BC&has_salary=true&limit=20" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"Add include_organization=true to add a short company profile to each job.
Questions people ask
Does Glassdoor have a public API?
Not for new developers, as of November 2026. Its old developer API is closed and access is limited to partners.
Can I get Glassdoor reviews by API?
Not from us. We only collect job listings from employer sources, not reviews.
Is there a Glassdoor jobs API alternative?
Yes. A jobs API that reads employer career sites gives you many of the same jobs, from the original source, with links to the employer’s own page.
Will I get every job that is on Glassdoor?
No. Some jobs are only posted on job boards. We collect the jobs employers publish on their own career sites and hiring systems.
Do you have salary data?
We return pay when the employer states it in the job. Use has_salary=true to get only those jobs. We do not estimate pay.
Do you cover Canada?
Yes. We cover the US and Canada. The US is $900 USD a month, Canada $200 USD and both $1,100 USD, and the free trial covers both.
