Looking for the Indeed API?

Indeed’s old job search API is not open to new developers. Here is a simple way to get the same kind of job listings from the original source.

Updated

The short answer

Indeed’s old public job search API is no longer open to new developers, so you cannot use it to read Indeed’s job listings. A good alternative is a jobs API that collects jobs from employer career sites, where many Indeed jobs are first posted.

What happened to the Indeed API?

Indeed once had a publisher API that let websites show its jobs. It is no longer available for new sign ups. Indeed’s current APIs are mostly for employers and partners who post jobs, not for reading them.

Where do Indeed jobs come from?

Many jobs on big job sites are first posted on the employer’s own career page or hiring system. That original post is often the most complete and up to date version.

How is The Jobs API different?

  • We collect from employer career sites and hiring systems, not from Indeed
  • Each job links to the employer’s own page
  • You can sign up yourself and start with a free trial
  • We cover Canada and the United States

Can I scrape Indeed instead?

Indeed limits automated access in its terms. We do not scrape Indeed, and we do not recommend it.

Questions people ask

Will I get every job that is on Indeed?

No. Some Indeed jobs are only posted on Indeed. Many larger employers also post on their own career site, and those are the jobs we collect.

Can I move my old Indeed integration?

Yes. Call our search endpoint with a title and a location, and map our fields to the ones your site shows.
