The best job posting APIs.
A plain comparison of job posting APIs and job data providers: where their jobs come from, what they cost to start and who each one fits.
Updated
The short answer
The best job posting API depends on what you build. For live jobs straight from employers in Canada and the US, use an employer-direct API like The Jobs API. For many countries and job-board coverage, look at Fantastic.jobs, TheirStack or Techmap. For people and company data with jobs on the side, look at Coresignal or People Data Labs. For research and labour statistics, look at Lightcast or LinkUp.
How we compared them
We read each provider’s public pages on October 20, 2026 and noted where its jobs come from, how you get the data, the lowest public price and the free trial. We are one of the providers on this list, so we also say when another one is the better choice. Prices change: check each site before you buy.

Should the jobs come from employers or job boards?
Job boards repeat the same job many times and add their own copies. Employer career sites hold the original post, with the full description and the real apply link, and the job disappears there when it is filled. Job-board data can add volume, but it can also add duplicates and terms risk. Choose based on what your users need to see.
What to check before you choose
- Which countries and languages you need
- Whether you need change feeds to keep a copy in sync
- How the provider counts usage: jobs, requests or credits
- Whether pay and other fields are published by employers or estimated
- Whether you can try it free with your own searches
