The short answer
There are a few free job APIs, but most are small, limited to one job board, or meant for testing. The Jobs API has a free 7-day trial with 500 jobs and 50 requests and no card. After that, plans start at $47.50 USD a month.
Why is job data not free?
Collecting jobs takes a lot of work. Thousands of employers post on many different systems. Someone has to check them all, every hour, and clean up the data.
What free options exist?
- Free trials from paid APIs, like ours
- Small job boards that share their own jobs
- Public job feeds from a single employer or hiring system
- Government job portals, which sometimes share their own jobs
When is free good enough?
Free is fine for a school project, a demo or a test. For a real product with users, you need fresh jobs, many sources and someone to fix problems.
How does our free trial work?
- Sign up with your email.
