The short answer

The Jobs API has job postings from employers across Canada. You can filter by province, city, job title, job type and remote. Place names work in English or French, and we only count a job as Canadian when the employer’s location shows it.

Which places are covered?

All provinces and territories, from British Columbia to Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

How do I search one province or city?

Write the full place name, like “Ontario, Canada” or “Toronto, Ontario, Canada.” Montreal and Montréal both work.

How do you know a job is in Canada?

We check the place the employer gave. A city name alone is not enough. “London” could be in Ontario or England, and “CA” could mean California.

Which employers are included?

Big employers, hospitals, governments, schools, stores and restaurants, collected from the hiring systems they use.

Questions people ask

Do you use Job Bank?
