Build a Webflow job board with live Canadian and US jobs
Fill a Webflow CMS job board with jobs from employer career sites in Canada and the US, using the Webflow Data API.
Updated
The short answer
Make a Jobs collection in Webflow, then use the Webflow Data API to create live items from our new jobs, update them from our changed jobs and unpublish them when they expire. Run it every hour in n8n, Make or a small scheduled script.
Set up the collection
- Title and slug
- Description (rich text, from our description_html)
- Company
- Location
- Salary (text)
- Apply link
- Posted date
- External id (our job id)
The simple sync loop
- Every hour, call /v1/active-ats?time_frame=1h with your filters (country, province or state, title, source) and create live items in bulk, up to 100 per call.
- Once a day, call /v1/modified-ats and find each item by external id and update it.
- Every hour, call /v1/expired-ats and unpublish or delete those items.
- Save our job id on each record, so a repeat never makes a duplicate.
Mind the item limit
Webflow site plans limit how many CMS items a site can hold. Filter by place, title or employer so your board stays under your plan’s limit, and remove expired jobs promptly.
Why use The Jobs API instead of copy and paste?
- Our jobs come from employer career sites and hiring systems, so each one links to the employer’s own apply page.
- Full descriptions in HTML and text, pay when the employer published it, and every location.
- Jobs expire when the employer removes them. We never close a job on one failed check.
- Strong Canadian coverage in English and French, plus the United States.
Questions people ask
Do I need to code?
Not with Make or n8n: both can call our API and Webflow’s API on a schedule.
Can I try it first?
Yes. The free trial lasts 7 days and includes 500 jobs and 50 API requests, with no card. That is enough to test the whole flow on a staging board.
