Add Canadian and US jobs to a Niceboard job board
Fill a Niceboard job board with jobs straight from employer career sites in Canada and the US, without click-out backfill.

The short answer
Niceboard imports XML feeds a set number of times per month, depending on your plan, and offers API access on higher plans. Use an XML bridge on lower plans, or sync new, changed and expired jobs through the API on plans that include it.
What can Niceboard import?
Niceboard’s pricing page lists XML import with a monthly number of runs per plan, and API access on its custom plan. Its help center describes backfill from partners such as Appcast, Talroo, Adzuna and Jobcase.
Niceboard imports XML. We send JSON. Here is the bridge.
The Jobs API answers in JSON. Niceboard’s importer reads an XML feed from a public web address. A small script in between fixes that: it calls our API with your key kept on the server, and serves the jobs as XML at a long, hard to guess address.
You can run that script as a Cloudflare Worker, an AWS Lambda, a cron job or an n8n workflow. Never put your The Jobs API key in the feed address itself, because anyone with the address could use it.
The simple sync loop
- Every hour, call /v1/active-ats?time_frame=1h with your filters (country, province or state, title, source) and create them through Niceboard’s API (or add them to your XML feed).
- Once a day, call /v1/modified-ats and update them.
- Every hour, call /v1/expired-ats and close them.
- Save our job id on each record, so a repeat never makes a duplicate.
Why use The Jobs API instead of built-in backfill?
- Niceboard backfill comes from click-based partner feeds. Backfill jobs usually pay per click and send your visitors to another site.
- Our jobs come from employer career sites and hiring systems, so each one links to the employer’s own apply page.
- Full descriptions in HTML and text, pay when the employer published it, and every location.
- Jobs expire when the employer removes them. We never close a job on one failed check.
- Strong Canadian coverage in English and French, plus the United States.
