Add Canadian and US jobs to a Cavuno job board

Fill your Cavuno job board with jobs from employer career sites in Canada and the US, using Cavuno’s API and The Jobs API.

Updated

The short answer

Cavuno has an API on its plans, with batch create and an external id on each job. Call The Jobs API for new, changed and expired jobs, then create, update and expire them in Cavuno. Store our job id as Cavuno’s externalId so nothing is duplicated.

What can Cavuno import?

Cavuno’s pricing page lists CSV and XML import, recurring feeds, an API, webhooks, Zapier and n8n. Its API can create jobs in batches of up to 100 and returns the existing job when you send an externalId it already has. Check cavuno.com/pricing for the active job limit on your plan.

The simple sync loop

  1. Every hour, call /v1/active-ats?time_frame=1h with your filters (country, province or state, title, source) and send them to Cavuno’s batch endpoint with externalId set to our job id, then publish them.
  2. Once a day, call /v1/modified-ats and update the matching Cavuno jobs.
  3. Every hour, call /v1/expired-ats and expire those jobs in Cavuno.
  4. Save our job id on each record, so a repeat never makes a duplicate.

Why use The Jobs API instead of copy and paste?

  • Our jobs come from employer career sites and hiring systems, so each one links to the employer’s own apply page.
  • Full descriptions in HTML and text, pay when the employer published it, and every location.
  • Jobs expire when the employer removes them. We never close a job on one failed check.
  • Strong Canadian coverage in English and French, plus the United States.

Questions people ask

Will imported jobs count toward my Cavuno job limit?

Yes. Cavuno plans cap active jobs, so filter by place or role to stay under your limit.

Can I test before paying?

Yes. The free trial lasts 7 days and includes 500 jobs and 50 API requests, with no card. That is enough to test the whole flow on a staging board.
